Chapter 216
"Who is it?" Just as Gregory uttered those words, Felix raised his right hand and pointed at
him.
"Thunderstrike," Felix commanded.
Then, a deafening rumble of thunder sounded as the dark clouds covered the moon, sending chills down everyone's spines.
Before anyone could react, a bolt of lightning tore through the night and struck Gregory. With a tremendous boom, the ground exploded, and he was left standing in a hole, blood gushing from his mouth. His face was etched with shock and disbelief. "Who? Who did this?" Gregory cried out in anguish before collapsing to the ground.
Even in death, he could not believe it was Felix who had struck him down. After all, only an exceptionally powerful being could summon lightning. Hence, someone of Felix's age could not have possibly possessed such terrifying strength. "Mr. Burton!" Jaxon and the others rushed over, their faces filled with grief. No one could have imagined that the Great Imperial Sect's most powerful Supreme Elder would meet his end so soon after emerging from seclusion. Xena stood frozen in place, replaying the scene of the lightning strike in her mind. In her experience, only the Four Great Warlords could unleash such a terrifying attack.
Although she had seen Felix raise his hand just before the thunder struck, just like Gregory, she still could not believe it was his doing. She assumed it must have been a high-ranking member of Dragon Alliance lurking in the shadows. 1 Xena considered herself a martial arts prodigy. Even if someone surpassed her, reaching the Grand Elder's level would be regarded as unbelievable. Hence, summoning a lightning attack from the sky was simply out of the question. When she snapped back to reality, she realized Felix and the Earthen Hall members had already left. There was no time to dwell on other matters. She quickly ran over to check on Gregory.
Meanwhile, as Vivian descended the mountain with Felix, she could not hide her frustration. She asked, "Are we really just leaving like this?"
Felix nodded. "Yes. Things are complicated with Xena around. Have your people stand by nearby. As soon as Xena leaves, eliminate all the elders and higher-ups of the Great Imperial Sect."! Understood!" Vivian replied.
Felix was determined not to let anyone involved in Jack's kidnapping go unpunished. With

his command, the Earthen Hall instantly vanished into the shadows. Though none of them could match Jaxon in a fair fight, their specialty was assassination, and the outcome was already decided. "What about the woman hiding in the shadows? Should we deal with her?" Vivian asked, surprising Felix.
"How did you know it was a woman?"
Indeed, since entering the Great Imperial Sect, he had sensed another presence watching from afar, seemingly content to observe without interfering.
"I was born with heightened senses, which might explain why I progress so quickly in martial arts. I caught the scent of her perfume a while ago-it's Chanel."
Felix was impressed that Vivian even identified the brand. However, the mention of the perfume triggered an image of someone in his mind, and he quickly frowned. "Head back first. I'll handle this," he said before disappearing.
Left alone, Vivian curiously sniffed her collar. "Strange. Does he prefer women who wear perfume? Looks like I still have a lot to learn," she mused.
