"Mia!!" Lilly screamed as she ran out the back door to find Mia casually 

smoking and Mr. Sinclair nowhere in sight. 

"Lilly is everything okay?" Mia asked in mock concern and Lilly to busy 

scanning her surroundings was too frightened to pick up on her tone. 

No Mia, it's not Mr. Sinclair followed you out here, he's dangerous Mia 

we need to go back inside...now," Lilly said holding out her hand waiting for 

Mia to accept but instead of looking worried by Lilly's declaration Mia simply 

raised her perfectly shaped brow and walked back a few more steps to sit 

on a bench continuing to smoke as she did.

Mr. Sinclair is dangerous and you came here to warn me?" Mia said 

crossing her legs and looking far too relaxed. 

Lilly ran over to Mia to try and get her to move quickly, " Yes quickly we 

need to go like I said he's dangerous and could be anywhere." 

Mia suddenly broke out into hysterical laughter and Lilly looked at her 

momentarily confused before her anger at Mia, not taking the situation 

seriously started to bubble but before she could berate Mia into taking her warning more seriously the door behind her slammed shut and Lilly jumped in fright and turned to see her worse nightmare... Mr. Sinclair standing in front of the closed door with an evil smile," Lilly, it's been too long...you look as beautiful as I remembered." 

"Mia we need to go now!! " Lilly said as she grabbed Mia's hand and tried to drag her up the ally knowing it was no use to scream, as no one inside would hear her through the thick metal door and over the music and buzz of conversations inside. 

"What's the rush, don't be so rude you should be a bit more welcoming to Mr. Sinclair after all he was your former Boss wasn't he?" Mia said shaking Lilly's grip from off her and smiling just as evilly as Mr. Sinclair. 

"Mia now is not the time to be stubborn, please listen to me we need to go!!" Lilly said trying to encourage her to move, "I don't know what he's told you but yes he was my boss and he's dangerous please come with me." Lilly begged. 

"He didn't tell me that stupid girl, I found that out on my own when I did my research on you and I know he's dangerous that's why I decided to make an alliance with him..." Mia said as she slowly walked closer to Lilly who took a step backward in shock. 

"What I don't understand..." Lilly said looking between Mia and Mr. Sinclair who both had evil grins and were starring at Lilly like she was a Little rabbit and they were wolfs waiting to tear her to shreds- which was what she felt like. 

"Of course you don't your too pure so let me explain it to you.You Lilly are a threat and in my way, so I have to get rid of you ...as much as I would take immense pleasure in doing that myself I cant so Mr. Sinclair here... who 

I tracked down after torturing the secret of your history with him out of your friend...I believe Marcel was his name, will be doing the job for me and I must say he looks almost as excited by the prospect as I am." Mia said as Lilly took her finally step backward and the back of her legs collided with the bench. 

"What did you do to Marcel ?" Lilly asked with an edge of anger in her voice, her selfless nature making her forget the danger she was in or her own fear. 

Mia laughed," my the kitten has claws! Be careful Thomas or you might get scratched." 

"Don't worry I won't make that mistake again..." Mr. Sinclair said as he took a step forwards. 

Mia looked at Lilly with a grin of pure evil," to answer your question dear I killed him." Lilly gasped and tears began to fall from her wide innocent eyes. " Of course I would of just slit his throat and killed him quickly since I had no quarrel with him, he was merely collateral damage but the stubborn man refused to answer my questions so I had to be ... persuasive. He was loyal to you it took four hours, the loss of his eye, a few fingers, most of his skin and a limb before he finally broke...who would have thought a glorified waiter would have been so tough..." Mia laughed cruelly and Tommy joined in. 

Mia's laugh was soon cut short however as Lilly acting out of pure instinct and rage used the training Matt had given her and lashed out. She grabbed Mia's hair in both of her fists and pulled her head down as she brought her knee up sharply catching Mia off guard and breaking her nose with an ear-shattering scream. 

Tommy stood frozen in shock and before Mia, who was lying on the 

ground screaming and clutching her bloody nose could get back up Lilly kicked her in the stomach making Mia curl into a ball and then grabbed her hair again smashing her head off the ground hard enough to knock her unconscious but not kill her...at least Lilly didn't think she was dead. 

"You b***h !! Do you know what she promised me!! " Mr. Sinclair screamed as he pulled out the knife Mia had given him and looked at Lilly in crazed madness making Lilly gulp. 

She may have been trained by Matt but she knew she was lucky to have caught Mia off guard as Mia was a trained killer, her adrenaline was starting to fade and as she looked at Mr. Sinclair holding the knife she knew Matt had taught her how to deal with this sort of situation but she never dreamed she would ever have to defend herself from someone trying to kill her in real life! As she looked into Mr. Sinclair's eyes she could see however that she didn't have a choice as his intent was clear- he was going try and kill her. "Excuse me, Boss, Lilly, and I have something to ask you," Aiden said tapping Stefan on the shoulder to get his attention. 

Stefan looked passed Aiden to smile at Lilly who was no doubt standing behind Aiden shyly, Stefan's expression darkened however as soon as he realized Lilly wasn't there. " Don't tell me you left her at the bar on your f*****g own!!" Stefan growled fearing for Lilly's safety. 

Aiden turned around and his face paled as he realized Lilly wasn't behind him and must not have been following him as he thought, "She was right behind me Boss we left the bar together and were coming to speak to you together..." Aiden's sentence was cut short as Stefan lunged at him and grabbed him by his shirt collar, " IF ANYTHING HAS HAPPENED TO HER I WILL HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE!" Stefan snarled. 

"Excuse us," Marcus said as he ushered Stefan who still had a grip on a 

terrified Aiden away from the crowd of Stefan's startled peers. "What the 

f***s going on? Tell me Stefan and do it calmly remember where you are 

...these people aren't part of the Mafia so let's keep the violence out of sight 

shall we?" Marcus said gently prying an enraged Stefan's grip from 

Aiden. 

" f**k!" Stefan said as he turned away from Aiden and took a deep 

breath so he wouldn't be tempted to take out his gun and shoot him, " this 

moron has lost Lilly..." Stefan was finally able to say as he focused his gaze 

on Marcus. 

"f**k !" Marcus said and unable to help himself he slapped Aiden over 

the back of the head before shouting, "i***t! " making a few people who 

were close to them look in their direction with their eyebrows raised 

disapprovingly. "I am sorry, okay I will get the men to search for her and we 

will call if we find her, Aiden tell Stefan where you saw her last, and you two 

search for her together...Stefan, don't kill him...YET" Marcus said scowling at 

a guilty-looking Aiden before taking charge as Stefan was still to angry and 

frightened for Lilly's safety to speak. 

As Marcus led the men on a search Stefan turned to Aiden, " Okay when 

was the last time you saw her?" He asked as civilly as he could. 

"As I said Boss, we left the bar together so Lilly could ask you 

something and then when I got to you that's when I realised she was gone." Aiden replied as he lowered his head respectfully. 

"Right, the men are searching the bar and area around it so tell me 

what she was coming to ask me, it might help find her." 

"She was coming to ask your permission to speak to Mia privately somewhere quite...she was concerned they got off on the wrong foot and she wanted to fix that for your sake." Aiden replied. 

"Mia...Mia went outside to smoke, do you think Lilly would follow her to try and have their talk in case i maybe said no?" Stefan asked frantically. 

"It's possible, Lilly cares about you a lot and it was important to her that she and Mia got on for your sake..." Aiden replied as he and Stefan looked towards the exit both thinking the same thing. 

"If she's with Mia she should be safe enough Mia can defend them both if needed but there was talk about the Russians plotting an attack they might know about Lilly and use her as a way to get to me... quick let's go check, call Marcus tell him bring a few men and meet us outside." Stefan ordered as he and Aiden pushed people out the way and ran towards the exit both correct that Lilly was in danger but unaware that Mia was the cause of it. 

"You don't have to do this Mr Sinclair, whatever she promised you is it really worth the guilt of my death on your conscious or the trouble my death will bring you?" Lilly asked slowly slipping her feet out of her heels and edging towards the alley getting ready to run since it was her only escape 

route. 

"HaI don't have a conscious that's what makes me so powerful and as for trouble...how much trouble can killing you really bring your rich boyfriend will find another gold-digging w***e soon enough... granted maybe not as pretty as you but a women's bodies are all f****d the same so I am sure he won't care after a while," Tommy said as he started to walk towards Lilly with a sense of purpose and Lilly seeing there was no humanity left in his eyes and no point in trying to reason with him turned and sprinted up the alley. 

Lilly was fast but her floor-length heavy velvet dress slowed her down and eventually, Mr. Sinclair caught up with her and tackled her to the ground with a painful thud. "NOOO!!" Lilly screamed as Mr. Sinclair rolled her around and started to pull up her dress - he should have just killed her but his lust got the better of him. 

Lilly trashed wildly trying to free herself and managed to punch him the face which stunned him enough for Lilly to roll around and try and stand but as she did Mr. Sincalir stood also and quickly pulled her to him pushing his throbbing c**k against her and held the knife to her throat. " Now if you beg me perhaps I won't kill you after all perhaps we can work out another arrangement for you to show me how sorry you are?" Mr. Sinclair said. 

"Go to hell! " Lilly screamed and Mr. Sincalir slapped Lilly hard and raised his hand holding the knife but as he was about to bring it down to strike Lilly in her heart, something he would never have a gunshot echoed in warning making him drop the knife in fear. 

"If you don't let my girlfriend go immediately the next one goes in between your eyes!" Stefan commanded, his voice dominating and his eyes glowing with rage. 

Lilly was relieved to see Stefan but not willing to take any chances now 

Tommy was distracted she grabbed his wrist and snapped it violently backwards breaking it making him drop the knife then she threw him on the ground and her anger at what he was about to do took over and she kicked him mercilessly over and over again as Stefan flanked by Marcus and Aiden ran up the alley towards her. 

Stefan wrapped his arms around Lilly's waist pulled her away from Mr Sinclairs bloodied and lifeless body, "Let go of me !!!!" Lilly screamed still in survival mode until she recognised the arms holding her were no threat but belonged to Stefan and she instantly calmed down." Stefan ?" Lilly asked as she turned to face him. 

The expression in Stefan's eyes turned from rage to unconditional love and concern as he reached out to stroke Lilly's matted hair, " yes love it's me." Lilly broke down in tears and ran into Stefan's embrace " Sshh...love it's okay I am here." Stefan said as he stroked her hair and let her cry out her conflicting emotions. 

Stefan and Lilly stood wrapped in each other's embrace as Stefan soothed and supported Lilly and their embrace was only eventually interrupted by Marcus, " Boss two of your protection detail have reported finding Mia she's unconscious but alive we are waiting on a car to take her to the hospital but it looks like that bastard attacked her and Lilly." Stefan tensed and contemplated letting Lilly go to speak to Marcus but Lilly made that decision for him as she gently pushed against Stefan's chest and looked up at him then Stefan. 

"Mr Sinclair didn't hurt Mia I did... she was working with him she brought him here to kill me she said I was in her way... I am sorry I didn't want to hurt her but I had no choice." Lilly said begging Stefan to 

understand and not hate her for hurting Mia. 

Stefan looked at Lilly in shock, he had no idea Lilly could take care of 

herself like that or that Mia was a danger to her- it was a lot to take in but as 

he looked at Lilly he knew exactly what she was thinking, " Lilly please don't 

look like that I do believe you and you don't need to apologise if it was you 

or her I would always choose you -always." Stefan wiped the tears from 

Lilly's eyes and led her up the alley where the car was waiting, " Marcus, 

change of plan take Mia along with Mr Sinclair back to the mansion see that 

any wounds are treated by the doctor and then have them both tied up in 

the basement- I will deal with them later." Lilly rested her head on Stefan's 

shoulder and Stefan noticing she wasn't wearing shoes picked her up and 

carried her the rest of the way as Marcus, Aiden and the rest of his men 

cleaned up the scene and dragged Mia's and Mr Sinclairs bodies 

unconscious bodies away.
